Benjamin Rader is a Computational Epidemiologist who currently serves as the Scientific Director of Boston Children’s Hospital’s Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator and Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Rader’s research focuses on public health intelligence, using novel technologies and data to improve the surveillance and prevention of disease. His writing has appeared in leading journals including JAMA and The New England Journal of Medicine, and he has helped advise numerous government agencies including the CDC and WHO. Dr. Rader, a former U.S. Army Officer and Johns Hopkins’ Emerging Leader in Biosecurity Fellow, received his Ph.D. from the Boston University and MPH from Northwestern University.
