Chris Remmel is a Data Engineer with the Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator at Boston Children's Hospital. Chris works on the full data stack from ingestion, data cleaning, and cloud infrastructure to statistics, machine learning, and visualization across many projects.

Previously, Chris worked at the Dartmouth Antibody Lab as a Data Scientist, where he led machine learning efforts with respect to the identification of correlates of protection against disease. Much earlier, Chris worked as an opera singer, performing as a principal and supporting artist at venues including the Santa Fe Opera, Chicago Opera Theater, and Opera Santa Barbara.

He is a graduate of the Flatiron School in Data Science, and received an M.M. in Opera from the Chicago College of Performing Arts and a B.A. in Music from UCLA.
